priya was a middle aged woman living somewhere in india.she was married and had two daughthers. priya was a good mother and a dutiful wife.but her husband was always busy with his official work and did not give her much time.her daughters were grown up and independent now so as a mother priya did not have to worry too mcuh about them.as time went by priya started feeling lonely.but priya was an intelligent lady and knew how to work on the computer.so one day she thought of chatting online and finding good friends there.and she did.one day she met online a middle aged gentleman from pakistan.he was very polite and priya liked talking to him very much.in a short time they became good friends and could understand each other very well.slowly they fell in love with each other very much.they used to chat with each other every day and if one day missed they would send e-mail to each other.at one time the pakistani gentleman had to go out of town for some offcial work.priya was expecting e-mail from him but for many days no news came.now priya got very worried and soon she received the news that her pakistani friend had a serious accident and was in the hospital.priya only prayed and cried for many days and by God`s blessings her friend returned to his home in good health.she sent 2 letters ( sent by e-mail ) to him where she wrote that god will return him to her because she believed in her true love very much.slowly he came back to good health and everytime when read these letters on his computer,he felt very happy from inside to have priya`s love.fianlly said that her foot would heal soon but also prescribed a long rest for her.the pakistani gentleman then requested onaameeka to stay at his house instead of staying at the guest house where she was staying till now.so priya agreed and stayed with her new friend.during her stay at this gentleman`s house she noticed a house maid by the name of Anita.this house maid was very loyal to the aged gentleman and took care of onaameeka very well.the name ANITA seemed to cause different strange feelings inside onaameeka`s mind.the name sounded very familiar to onaameeka but at the same time she was sure she had not known anyone by that name before.but onaameeka really liked this gentleman`s polite behaviour and loved talking to him for long hours.slowly onaameeka`s foot healed and now she could walk around the house,in the graden and in the verandah.one day after lunch when onaameeka was walking around the house,she saw a room with a beautiful wooden door. she opened the door and went onaameeka sees the younger image of the gentleman and suddenly screams his name and wakes up in bed.on hearing his name, the aged gentleman came running from the other room.she told him about the dream.but he only smiled and said "i knew u would come to meet me".he also told her that knew from the day of onaameeka`s car accident that she was priya because her face looks exactly like priya`s.then for the whole night the aged gentleman told onaameeka all about priya and how much he loved priya.after this incident onaameeka became very affectionate towards the gentleman and he loved her very much.within the next few weeks they discovered that they were in love with each other.and then one day they agreed to get married to each other.to them religion or country or age did not matter.only true love matters.the gentleman said he always loved priya,even as onaameeka --- and since onaameeka loved him from her previous life --- this true love has won over time and obstacles.so profullo babu retired at 58yrs from a high post goverment service.his son and daughter are married,well-established in life and live abroad. after retirement profullo babu thought to himself,"i have worked all my life..how will i manage only sitting at home now?without any work?..i must find some work for myself!!". Profullo babu,himself is quite well established in life.own a luxurious flat,with the best furnishings in the neighborhood,has a plasma screen TV,AC,geysar,aqua guard,computer,latest music system,home theatre, etc.he lives with his wife,who is a homely lady.she is shrewd and witty.they only allow two part time maid servants because full time maids cannot be trusted these days. these maids finish the cooking-washing-cleaning by morning.profullo babu and his wife live by themselves.one day his wife told him,"i have been looking after the house all these days..now thats u have retired,you take care of everything.i will only supervise in the kitchen." days went by,profullo babu sat at home going over the newspaper and thought "i must do something to keep myself active". thereafter one day, the aqua guard mechanic came by,"sir,we need to service ur machine as per your annual contract with our company".profullo babu said " alright,come in".his wife warned him," keep watch!".profullo babu said "yes of course!",and said to himself, " at last i have found some work to do!". he took great interest in the work initially,and talked to the mechanics very enthusiastically.he checked to see of the work was done properly.the work went on for one or two hours.profullo babu`s routine bath and lunch were delayed because of the work.but he was happy because he had done some work today!! soon after that day,another two young men came by,and said they needed to repair the air-conditioner.it was 12pm in the afternoon at that time.it was time for profullo babu`s routine bath!but his wife asked him to look after the repair and also warned him "keep watch!".he had no choice but to say "yes of course!"the mechanics worked for 2 to 3 hours.profullo babu however managed to have his bath in between,but his lunch was delayed.he was hungry but could not complain.some more days went by, and the TV broke down.his wife ordered,"call the tv mechanic".so profullo babu phoned them but strictle mentioned that the mechanics should not come before 2pm.because he must keep to his routine time for bath and lunch! the tv mechanics arrived after 2pm so there was not much problem that day.now profullo babu was an ACTIVE RETIRED MAN! when ever he would not have any work at hand,he would phone the technicians and spend time repairing something or the other.and then he has the bank and post office to go to.above all,he has 24hours duty at home!he must attend to the door every time the door bell rings.the duty begins from 7am ..the newspaper,the milkman,sweeper boy,maid servant ...and the list goes on! attending to the door is a way of keeping fit,says profullo babu.all his time is spent in doing this work.therefore he does not have the time to think of any other job.he is so busy now that he does not even manage to keep to his routine bath and lunch.he was very tired after all this work and thought to himself "now i understand why i found my wife irritated in the evening when i came home from work..she had to do this work all by herself!". after some more months,profullo babu said to his wife," let us go some where for a small vacation,we will take rest and do some sight seeing also.i cannot work anymore! i need to retire from house work!"
